Tottenham have ‘come forward’ for €15 million-rated English attacker

Tottenham are keen on signing Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior.

The North London club want to bolster their attack in the upcoming transfer window. They are expected to push for a new winger. According to a report from TuttoJuve, Tottenham are looking to bring Samuel Iling-Junior back to England.

The 20-year-old winger was a part of the Chelsea youth team back in the day. Things didn’t work out for him at the London club and he ended up joining Juventus in the summer of 2020. But, Iling-Junior could part ways with the Italian giants at the end of the season and Tottenham have ‘come forward’ to sign the English winger.

He managed to break into the Juventus first team setup towards the end of 2022, but the England youth international hasn’t been able to establish himself as a regular starter. Iling-Junior has had limited game time at the Italian club and with his contract running out in the summer of 2025, the Old Lady could sanction his departure.

Juventus value the former Chelsea youth star at €15 million and that figure will be quite affordable for a club with Spurs’ resources. Tottenham are interested in the 20-year-old as they want to add more depth to the flanks.

The North London club haven’t made a decision regarding Timo Werner’s future. Even if they do decide to trigger the buy option in his loan deal, they could want more depth on the flanks. It will give Ange Postecoglou the opportunity to use Son Heung-min in a central role regularly.

Moreover, they are keen on signing the English winger as they feel he has the potential to be a special player for the club, with the right guidance in the long run.
